Coronation Street fans predict harrowing stalker ordeal for Daisy – and he’s already arrived on the cobbles
ROVERS barmaid Daisy Midgeley recently had a cancer scare before being told she was out of danger.
However, Coronation Street fans are predicting a sinister turn of events on Reddit, believing she may have an online stalker.
Things are looking up for the iconic character played by Charlotte Jordan after she was told she doesn’t have cancer.
To top it off, her partner Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is ready to take their relationship to the next level.
The Weatherfield teacher popped the question during the soap’s hour-long Christmas special.
Daniel received a little help from Ken Barlow (William Roache) after the engagement ring he was planning to give Daisy was stolen during a burglary at No.1.
Unfortunately, life in Weatherfield is never completely peaceful and ITV viewers are fully aware of it.
One of them turned to Reddit after growing increasingly convinced that Daisy could become the target of an online stalker.
“Anyone else notice the username ‘this charming man’ on Daisy’s social media?”, they penned.
Many other Corrie fans immediately jumped in, agreeing with the original post.
“I think that the stalker is the same person who burgled the Barlows”, one even speculated.
A second soap fan added: “it’ll be the guy who sat with her at the hospital and he’ll have her engagement ring too.”
“Yeah, I reckon it’s that cute Scottish bloke who sat next to her in the hospital while he waited for his Mam the other day”, another echoed.
Daisy was recently comforted by a stranger in hospital when Daniel accompanied to her appointment and left to get them a cuppa.
