Almost 30K Washoe County residents lost power Wednesday morning as powerful winds swept in northern Nevada. NV Energy reported, “28,258 customers are without power as of 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 5.” A high wind caution is in effect for “the Greater Reno-Carson-Minden areas and Mono County, California, from 1 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday.”
