Minor earthquake hits Armenia
ArmInfo. The RA Ministry of Internal Affairs has reported an earthquake in Armenia.
According to the report, an earthquake with a magnitude of 2.2 was recorded at 2:35 PM local time at the Armenian- Azerbaijani border on December 8. The epicenter was 13 km northeast of the city of Jermuk, where the magnitude of the tremors was 2-3 on the Richter scale.
An earthquake with a magnitude of 1-2 was felt in the city of Jermuk, as well as in the villages of Kechut and Gndevaz in the Vayots Dzor region.
