COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - From a variety of live concerts and sporting events, to the return of the Ohio State Fair and the Columbus Food and Wine Festival. Here are things to see and do this weekend in central Ohio.
Ohio State Fair
Ohio Expo Center, July 23-Aug. 3
- The state fair is back in Columbus several days full of rides, food, entertainment, contests and more. Tickets are $12 for adults (ages 13-59), $10 for kids (6-12) and seniors (60 and up). Children under 5 are admitted for free.
Columbus Food and Wine Festival
Downtown Columbus, July 24-26
- Enjoy several offerings of all things food and wine at the annual festival. Discover the nation's best wineries and try out a variety tasty bites. The sip and social will kick off Thursday at the Little Grand Market at 6 p.m. Friday is the Cabernet and Chocolate at Kennedy's Kakes and Saturday will be held at Land Grant Brewing Company.
Columbus Clippers vs. Buffalo Bisons
Huntington Park, through July 27
- The Columbus Clippers face the Buffalo Bisons as part of its six-game series. Tickets are on sale now.
Lancaster Festival
Downtown Lancaster, Fairfield County Fairgrounds, Wendel Concert Stage, July 24-Aug. 2
- The annual celebration of art, music and community is back in Lancaster for a full weekend of entertainment, food, events and much more. This year's performers including Colbie Caillat, Gary LeVox from Rascal Flatts and more.
Columbus Crew vs. Orlando City

- The Columbus Crew face Orlando City in a home matchup at Lower.com Field.
Canal Winchester's Blues and Ribfest
Historic Downtown Canal Winchester, July 25-26
- Enjoy two days full of blues music, world-class ribs, a wide variety of other food options, children's activities and a beer and wine garden. The event is Friday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 11 p.m.
Nationwide Picnic with the Pops
Columbus Commons, July 25-26 at 8 p.m.
- The Ohio State University Marching Band joins the Columbus Symphony for two nights of fight songs and fireworks. Brutus will also be in attendance for the music while celebrating the Buckeyes and their National Championship win. Tickets are on sale now.
Columbus African Festival
Genoa Park, July 26-27
- Celebrate the richness of African culture and heritage at the Columbus African Festival. The event will feature a wide variety of events and activities including live performances and music, arts and crafts exhibitions and cultural marketplaces.
Delaware Music Festival
154 W. William St., Delaware, July 26 from noon to 8 p.m.
- The festival will showcase local bands throughout the day, along with food trucks, art vendors and much more. Tickets for the festival are $8 for advance tickets and $10 at the door ($8 for Seniors & Veterans) for the entire day. Anyone 15 and under are admitted for free.
Taste of New Albany
Rose Run Park, July 27 from 5 to 10 p.m.
- The event will feature more than 35 restaurants, caterers and specialty food and beverages. Try samples from menus while enjoying beer, wine and cocktails. Tickets are on sale now.
