Sarah Ferguson’s Latest Controversy Has Everything to Do With Her Rumored Ex
It seems the skeletons won’t quit coming out of Sarah Ferguson’s closet! First, everyone knows about her close bond with her controversial ex-husband, Andrew Windsor-Mountbatten, and of course, her resurfaced bond with late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. There’s her reported poor behavior, money woes, and now, a new controversy surrounding her and her rumored former lover.
Let’s rewind a bit: Ferguson was linked to Spanish entrepreneur Manuel Fernandez from 2015 to 2016. While Ferguson described them as “friends and business partners,” their continued joint appearances had people question if something more was happening. But the biggest thing about their bond is that Ferguson was the ambassador for his lifestyle app, vVoosh, and publicly backed up the app many times.
However, per DailyMail, the app, which was originally founded in 2010, collapsed in Nov 2025 without ever launching anything. Not only that, but the app raised around £9 million in funding and it cost the taxpayers more than £1 million.
So add that to the list of controversies: Ferguson backed a company that never launched anything after 15 years and lost the taxpayers millions. (And her former business holds around one percent of the company’s shares!) Yikes.
It doesn’t stop there. The company also had a charitable foundation, which Ferguson noted as a form of her philanthropy, but it’s more than four years overdue to report its accounts.
The Times said the Charity Commission is looking to remove the charity from the roster, saying, “We have now instigated the formal removal of the charity from the Register of Charities on the basis that it does not operate.”
