Remember,a contract requires offer and acceptance by both parties. At the very least you should agree a written maximum sum for the whole job, with any increases agreed by both parties well in advance. The builder shall agree his total workscope, including demolition of old kitchen, disposal of scrap items and a full bill of material of what is being fitted. Safety issues regarding electrics, gas and water should be underwritten and a guarantee period specified. Читать дальше...
I just said that!
(45 yards though...)
I took down some wall lights 1.5 cable and was going to put the led 's up
I was just asking can I cut the plug and hard wire it into the lighting circuit.
My electrician is very busy and he wont charge me for the likes of this so i was going to do it myself.
There was a brilliant Cardiff goal in the Div 3 championship season, the game where Jose won a last minute penalty for the 2-1 win. If I recall it was a goal kick, bounced once, someone hooked it from about 35 yards out and it dipped just under the bar.
True story of one of my jobs a few weeks back.
Have a go heros and diy daves please take note.
Went to Rewire a house a few weeks ago, so we turn the power off and go to start disconnecting existing sockets and lights. Fortunately as always, I checked what I was taking out was completely dead. It wasn't.
I had pulled every single fuse out of the fuse board, but I still had a permanent live connection.
The install was 40 plus years old and at some point... Читать дальше...

Best one I remember that I was at was in the mid 90's v Cardiff, some guy scored for them from about 45 yards.
Think it was the game where Mark Ward scored a late penalty and the Cardiff fans started ripping up seats in The Railway End and burning Union Jacks etc.
Supermarket diesel is shit avoid like the plague or start saving for a new DPF
Think it was a Preston player (no idea of the name) that got a beauty at SA in 2009 .....Might have been the day Lee Bowyer got sent off too
We lost 1-2 and had to go to Reading the last day and win
(tu)
fecks sake nic you've got a £25 grand job going on but no contract? Is it any wonder so many people get ripped off?
Good advice
Hard to pick the best, but memorable ones,
Rush in a 1 0 home defeat, highest chipped lob I think I've seen
Some Bury guy in a friendly in LC 's first season, we all randomly applauded in bewildered appreciation
Southampton consolation in Pandiani's debut
THERE WILL BE LOTS
The Cobblestone but check out the Dice bar after it not to far away as well
Why have they been so pants over the last 15 years or so ??
I can recall that epic win by them against World Cup winners England at Wembley in '67 ....Jinxy Jim Baxter running the show and players like Bremner, Mackay, Law, Gilzean, McCalliog and Johnstone on display ....but they haven't beaten England by a two goal margin or more since 1974
Of course our very own James Herriott , Kenny Burns, James McFadden, Archie Gemmill, Paul Devlin and Alex McLeish were Scottish internationals in their day... Читать дальше...

Until Cogley learns to head the ball he is a liability.
I would question a builder who would rock up and start a £25k job without a contract...
Good, he'll be fresh and eager. We might just need to explain some of the rules to him.
The builder should be able to issue you with a contract of works.
I have one that basically says, what I will carry out, payment terms, what's happening with rubbish etc. Always ask for a copy of their insurances as well, if they're a good builder, they won't mind at all. I was on a job where a builder caused subsidence to an adjoining property, fortunately for everyone he had the correct insurances.
Can't make an omelette without break a few eggs :D

Ricks right but I didn't know the soot content could be that high. Mate of mine done a regen on his lexus, didn't work and cost him 2 bags of sand in repairs plus the orignal regen costs.
"Get a sparky, electrics are dangerous, there's a reason we go to college for 3 plus years, if you feck it up, your going to potentially kill someone."
This is the correct answer every time. Anybody who says otherwise is a stupid fanny.
Pot. Tek it back unless you're gonna pay someone to fit it
Riise in that 7-0 cup game was pretty special...
