It's nearly all over folks - the longest car crash in the history of football, or is it?
From the convoluted, complicated and mind boggling ownership of the club that the football league has been complicit in letting happen, to the inept and woeful standards on the pitch, the club is arguably in the biggest mess in it's history.
Yep, we've been in the third tier before minus hope, lightbulbs and money, but not anywhere near the extent of an impending crash of the Birmingham... Читать дальше...

SW playing really well,
After one of the most gutless, spineless, depressing performances yesterday it looked like the players are shot and resigned to relegation.
Barring a miracle and the clown being sacked how does he get them up for weds and what side will he pick?
You could make a case for dropping all eleven starters tbh.
Whatever team he picks you just know it's going to be the same old shit and result.
Reading are 5-4 at the bookies which looks like a gift
Rowett, Monk and Redknapp, for a while, transformed the team so we could stay up.
A new manager may be able to do this for us.

The thought makes me feel sick.
After the way we finished last season it would be weird even by Dongs standards
Good luck mate.
Agreed about Elliott. Scandalously light punishment. 6 months with 6 months suspended sends the wrong message to the non racing fans
50k. Even if he didn’t start it would have proved a no lose gamble and very good investment.
When do you reckon we had our first Cheltenham festival thread...i'll tell you, it was a few weeks after our Wembley triumph, there was a real feel good factor about the place. I thought i would start a racing thread, my first selection Al Ferof won at 10/1,the sun was shining, the world seemed a great place, dreams of Europe, 10/1 winners it was good to be alive, fast forward 10 years and here we are, what a effing mess, Blues have been on a seemingly terminal decline and i haven't backed a winner since (well not quite... If we can beat The Miller's, then it might only take 45, to ensure our safety.
I don't think that Rotherham will get more than 46, even with their games in hand. They average a point per game and I don't see that changing soon.
Our current average is roughly 0.95 points per game, so its going right down to the wire, again. But we are past masters at surviving these situations.
It is eminently possible that we will stay up. Rotherham are equally poor and, push comes to shove, we have better players (just)
But the pessimism is to think : OK...we've stayed up. Now what?
AK gets another transfer window to get in players that are better than the 15 or so he's already got in and largely doesn't play?
AK gets another 3 months to coach the team to play effectively - despite showing no signs of being able to do this to date in his 9-months spell?
He is available. Go get .

It just has to be said that Ren is one of the very worst football executives ever near a football club.
Aitor Karanka is failing, very badly, as a manager and relegation now seems a real possibility, if some other coach or manager is not given the chance to get the most out of the squad of players.
Ren's incompetence, poor judgement and wastefulness is undermining the status of the team, the club, the city, the owners and investors. His judgement about appointment and sacking of managers has been consistently abject. Читать дальше...
Would genuinely love to be a fly on the wall.
Dong: lost again then gaffa?
Krank: yeah, not my fault though, players are shit. Gonna need another 15 in the summer. Wotcha gon do, sack me?
Dong: we go again
The collective levels of delusion must be spellbinding
Looking at our league performances since our glorious owners sacked Rowett we have played 199 league games and garnered a paltry 211 points (before any points deductions) that’s a pitiful average of 1.06 points per game. As far as I can see that’s the lowest points per game for any Club who have been continuously in the EPL/EFL over this period - worse than even basket cases like Bolton and Southend. We are literally bottom of the pile on a PPG basis.
Now I suppose we haven’t been relegated... Читать дальше...
What a waste of money.
Mrs BlueNation having a lie in this morning, as usual. She’s not a morning person, like me.
I’ll do scrambled eggs and smoked salmon a favourite of hers.
Hoping to see my mum later, now we’re allowed to meet one person outside your household.

With Keif starting:
P 8 won 3 - 37.5%
Without Keif starting:
P28 won 3 - 10.7%
Not THE problem but stupid decision to let him go.
Would have been a better option as captain.
Brummagen
In my option we would absolutely still be in the same position as we are, with Keif or without.
We have been relegation fodder for the last few years with him an integral part of the squad.
Even though I am not a fan for the money we paid, I still think Sunjic is a slight upgrade.
