They sack a seriously injured passenger in a car driven by another employee (who has been convicted of drunken driving as a result of the incident) for Gross Misconduct but not the convicted parties (if you include the other convicted Driver).
I wish their brief well arguing that.
That was exactly what I was thinking earlier. Something is amiss with this story here, he was a passenger? Not in charge of the vehicle? So basically a pissed up passenger.
He maybe lied to the cops about the drivers alcohol consumption that night.
He could have had "something else on him" if you catch my drift.

As I said earlier, offered a pay cut to stay and refused so they got rid of him - they all could've been sacked but a 33 year old pushing 35 when fit has no resale value, whereas the other 2 do.
