As the death toll continues to rise due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), a senior resident doctor deployed at Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) was suspended on Saturday over alleged negligence of duty. With one more death at SKMCH on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday, the death toll mounted to 129 in Muzaffarpur district.
