OneTwoTrip travel planning service analysts have identified the most popular Russian cities in which Russians plan to celebrate the New Year. The research results are published by RT.
According to the research, Sochi, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Moscow and St. Petersburg are most often attracted to travelers. In addition, many tickets were purchased to Mineralnye Vody, Simferopol, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don and Novosibirsk.
At the same time, the study notes that the average ticket price for the New Year period has decreased. So, you can go on air travel in Russia for 5.9 thousand rubles, while in 2019 it would cost at least 7.7 thousand rubles.
Earlier, a study of the online service OneTwoTrip showed that Kemerovo and Sevastopol were the most profitable destinations for traveling in Russia for the New Year. So, according to experts, air tickets to these cities have dropped significantly in price over the year (by 59 percent) and began to cost five thousand and four thousand rubles, respectively. In addition, it turned out that traveling to Izhevsk for the winter holidays could save 58 percent compared to the previous year. Also, the cost of the flight to Barnaul has decreased by 54 percent, and by 50 percent – to Vladikavkaz.
