Amman (dpa) - The US decision to recognize Jerusalem as capital of Israel and move the US embassy to the holy city violates international legitimacy resolutions and the UN Charter, says Jordan‘s government in comments carried by the state-run Petra News Agency.State Minister for Media Affairs and government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani said in a statement that "all unilateral measures aimed at imposing new facts on the ground are null and void."Al-Momani said Jordan rejects the decision, which fuels tension and supports the occupation, adding that Jerusalem‘s final status issue must be resolved within the framework of a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.dpa wh ncs
