Alec Baldwin on Rush to Judgment in Misconduct Cases: ‘Lot of Accusations and No Proof Yet’
After calling out late-night hosts for taking on a “grand jury”-like role in the sexual misconduct scandals currently permeating Hollywood, Alec Baldwin told Megyn Kelly he stands by the comments he made on Twitter this week, as he doesn’t want to “want to see people who are innocent get into trouble.”
“I do find that, that whole issue, which is a big can of worms to open up really, it is really, really tough, because you certainly want to see everyone who is guilty of something, who have done bad things, wrong things that hurt people, you want to see those people get punished,” Baldwin told the “Megyn Kelly Today” host on Thursday.
