BREAKING: Federal High Court returns PDP Senator to represent Anambra central
A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the return of Obiora Okonkwo as the senator representing the Anambra Central Senatorial District.
Premium Times reports that the order was given by Justice John Tsoho on Wednesday, December 13.

This was following the decision by the other counsels decided to withdraw their arguments against the plaintiff.
The judge said he decided to return the Peoples Democratic Party senator as there was no objection to the suit.
The defendants were former chairman, Adamu Muazu, the Independent National Electoral Commission and Uche Ekwunife, a former senator and former member of the PDP.
INEC had earlier fixed January 13 as for election for a new senator to fill the position before the judgement by Justice Tsoho
Meanwhile, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) said that it will present a presidential candidate for the 2019 elections and will not make the same mistake it made in 2015.
The party did not field a presidential candidate for the 2015 presidential election and there were reports that this was because of its alleged alliance with the Peoples Democratic Party to support its candidate.
Ifeatu Obi-Okoye who is the publicity secretary APGA said the party has now resolved to produce a presidential candidate and that this has been agreed by the national working committee of the party.
The publicity secretary said the party has not zoned its presidential candidate to any part of the country yet but that Governor Willie Obiano seems like the likeliest candidate.
