Klopp on Virgil van Dijk’s potential debut

Liverpool confirmed the signing of Virgil van Dijk last week and he officially became a Red yesterday as the January transfer window opened up.

A long and drawn out process for much of the time, there was certainly some points where we felt as though the defender might never join the club at all.

Now, though, we have our man and the next thing we are all thinking about is when he is going to take his debut.

For Jurgen Klopp, though, there is no rush to bring the defender into the side and for the manager, there is therefore no date for him to start.
