Arsenal embarked on something of a mini clearout in January and one man to leave the Emirates Stadium in a mid-season window that was comparatively busy by the standards of a top six side was Theo Walcott.
The England international joined Everton, at the end of a prolonged period in north London which was epitomised by Walcott’s inability to really kick on and improve on his weaknesses.
