Allbirds shoes are so popular because they’re pretty affordable at $95, are machine-washable, use sustainable materials in a creative way, and — most importantly — are impossibly comfortable. They’ve been called the world’s most comfortable shoes, and it’s not an outlandish claim.

The company’s original runner and lounger are made from sustainable merino wool that is unbelievably soft and helps to auto-regulate temperature, and the brand-new Tree collection is made from comfortable, cooling eucalyptus fiber. We’ve tried everything — from the lounger to the runner to the new Tree collection — and there isn’t a pair that we wouldn’t recommend even more than the last.
