Her most famous role to date still remains the controversial university student Jenifa in the movie of the same name. That role alone made her a household name. Fans couldn’t even get enough that she had to launch a TV series starring the character.
The show has become a household name with it directly responsible for the careers of the likes of Lota Chukwu and Olayode Juliana. We also saw rapper Falz in another light. Who knew he act so convincingly?
Like a number of celebrities on her level, Funke has had her own share of controversy. But many rejoiced when news broke that she had gotten married to veteran rapper and producer, Abdul Rasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz.
