After remaining MIA for most of the 2015 awards show season, Jennifer Lawrence returned to the red carpet with one of her hottest looks to date for the Serena New York screening, hosted by Magnolia Pictures and The Cinema Society on Saturday, March 21.

The drama's title character looked radiant in a Dior haute couture minidress with a striped sequined top, featuring huge side cutouts, and a juxtaposing demure A-line floral embroidered skirt. Lawrence, 24, matched the frock's high-shine factor by accessorizing with an Ana Khouri bracelet, Kimberly McDonald studded earrings, and silver metallic sandals by Jimmy Choo. (Lawrence slipped into an equally hot Helmut Lang dress for the afterparty.)

The Oscar winner was joined by her third-time costar Bradley Cooper, whom she endearingly called her "work husband," while on the red carpet. The duo's other successful films include Silver Linings Playbook (for which she earned an Oscar) and American Hustle.
"I respect her so much as a professional, as an actor, and I think she's the best there is," the newly single actor, 40, who split from girlfriend Suki Waterhouse, expressed on the red carpet. "I just learn from her. You always want to work with people who are better than you." Lawrence added, "And I feel the same way about him.”
