Mt. Juliet man arrested for striking, kicking 6-year-old
Mt. Juliet, TN - A Mt. Juliet man is behind bars after authorities say shows the suspect kicking and slapping a 6-year-old child.
And this isn't the first time the boy has been abused. When the victim was an infant, he was also abused by a man who is now behind bars.

Randy Dickens is jailed on a child abuse/neglect charge.
Wilson County deputies responded to a home in the 3800 block of Nonaville Road in reference to child abuse/neglect on Sunday.
The child's told officers she had evidence showing her ex-husband striking the little boy with an open hand multiple times and kicked him in the abdomen.
Deputies watched the and saw Dickens abusing the child, even shoving him to the ground at one point. The child then tried to get away, retreating to his room, where Dickens is accused of following the boy and kicking him again.
Dickens wasn't home at the time deputies were called to the incident and refused to return to the residence. The suspect later turned himself in early Monday morning.
