Malcolm Brogdon has a plantar fascia tear, should be back in the playoffs
Arguably the Warriors strongest contender just took a big hit.

The injury news is a tough break for Brogdon and the Bucks, who have been the best team in the NBA this year. Milwaukee has a 52-17 record and a +9.0 net rating this season, with both marks comfortably leading the league.
Brogdon, a third-year combo guard, has been a big part of that. He’s averaging 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game, and shooting 42.6 percent from three-point range.
The Bucks are seen by many - including former Warriors big man David West - as the biggest threat to the Warriors’ throne. Losing a starter could be catastrophic for them.
Still, the Bucks should be all right. The six to eight-week timeline puts Brogdon on pace to return in early to mid-May. That’s well before the NBA Finals, though it could put him out for a second-round contest against the Boston Celtics or Philadelphia 76ers.
Hopefully there aren’t any other big injuries around the league, so that all the championship contenders can be as healthy as possible.
