The Herald Sun’s National Political Editor James Campbell has told Sky News that One Nation leader Pauline Hanson ‘should apologise’ for pre-selecting ‘this clown’ Fraser Anning as a candidate for the Senate. Senator Anning is facing a censure motion from all the major parties for his response to the mosque massacre in New Zealand. The Queensland senator only received 19 votes in 2016 election but was elevated to the Senate after One Nation’s Malcolm Roberts was deemed ineligible to sit in federal parliament after being found to be a dual-national. Mr Campbell says it is to Ms Hanson’s ‘eternal shame’ that she pre-selected this ‘nasty piece of work’ as a One Nation senator in the first place.
