With the full backing of Labor, Liberal Senator Mathias Cormann will put forward the censure motion against Queensland senator Fraser Anning when parliament resumes, following comments he made about the Christchurch mosque attack. It is the biggest reprimand the government can deliver to a sitting member, with any further attempts to expel the senator being unconstitutional.
