Monday’s horse racing NAP: Your best bet for today’s racing from Callum Jamieson
THE Festival hangovers are beginning to fade and normality kicks in on Monday.
Three jumps cards to get stuck into and I’ve landed on a pair of Venetia Williams runners to aim at.
GEORDIE B (Exeter, 2.40) just shades it for NAP purposes on a quiet Monday.
It looks a two horse race – famous last words – between my fancy and the once impressive Tidal Flow.
Things have gone downhill quite rapidly for Philip Hobbs novice since a pair of wins in the midst of winter.
Geordie B remains unexposed and gets 6lbs from Tidal Flow. His latest win stacks up extremely well, with the runner-up now rated 136.

Aidan Coleman again takes the ride and conditions look perfect to strike again.
The step up to just shy of three miles has brought out further improvement and Venetia Williams continues to have her team in good order.
He’ll probably go off favourite, but it’s not a day for finding one at fancy prices. Fingers crossed we can find a winner and move on to Tuesday.
