Himachal Pradesh CM announces Rs 100 crore for disaster relief, Rs 3,000 crore for mitigation project
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu celebrated Independence Day in Mandi district. He announced Rs 100 crore for disaster relief and a Rs 3,000 crore disaster mitigation project. Sukhu highlighted the impact of global warming and requested central assistance. The state disbursed Rs 360.42 crore. He launched the Anti-Chitta Volunteer Scheme and Nasha Mukti Board to combat drug abuse.
