[Men's Soccer] Bears drop tight 3-1 decision to Tigers
The men's soccer program at Shawnee State University obtained a late second half goal from Thomas de Graauw off of a pass from Kevin de Lange, but the Bears, after giving up two goals over the first two minutes of the contest to Campbellsville, couldn't make up the early hole that was dug as SSU dropped a 3-1 decision to Campbellsville on Saturday afternoon in the Mid-South Conference opener for the men.
While the Bears were outshot by a 30-11 margin, SSU kept the margin much closer in actual shots on goal as the Bears posted six shots on frame to Campbellsville's nine. The Tigers also held a 10-2 edge on corner kicks during the contest.
