I'm out in Japan for a few of the rugby world cup games. Great atmosphere on Saturday, maybe not the best game. Getting the train back after the game, it was packed with England, Argentina, Japan supporters and was very loud and good natured. On getting into the station, however, there were about 8 blokes singing at the top of their squeaky voices 'Birmingham, are you listening...'
So they went all that way not to sing along with all the rugby songs and fans and join in the banter, not even to sing about Vile but to sing about the club they apparently don't care about.
To me that really sums them up and that was even before the Norwich result, God knows what they would have been like after that.
