It may happen twice every year in the UK, but the bi-annual changing of the clocks to go either backwards or forwards for Daylight Savings seems to throw us every time.

Yup, the clocks did indeed go back very early this morning on Sunday 27 October 2019.
The time changed at 2am Greenwich Mean Time overnight meaning that at 2am it became 1am GMT instead.
This might mean that you got to enjoy an extra hour of sleep this morning – maybe without even realising it.
Most mobile devices will adjust the time automatically (like smartphones often do for time zone changes) for daylight saving time, so your phone should already show the correct time.
You will however need to change analogue and car clocks so show the new, earlier time.
When do the clocks go forward again in 2020?
Now that the clocks have gone back for the winter, we won’t see them change again until spring next year.
The clocks will go forward one hour on Sunday March 29 2020, when Daylight Savings starts again and the countdown to British Summer Time begins.
