Microsoft won the Pentagon’s $10bn cloud computing contract Jedi, part of a broader digital modernisation of the Pentagon on 25 October, beating Amazon, after a contracting process that had been mired in conflict of interest allegations and was delayed after US President Trump voiced concerns about the fairness of the competition.
