Man wounded in East Oakland drive-by shooting
OAKLAND — A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday afternoon in East Oakland, authorities said.
The shooting occurred just before 1 p.m. on the 4300 block of San Leandro Street just east of High Street. Police said the victim, in his 20s, was shot by someone in a passing car.
The man was wounded in the lower part of his body and got a ride to the hospital from a friend. He was in stable condition.
Police have not determined a motive for the shooting or made any arrests.
