Comedian Peter Berner says “not everything needs to be a contest” as reports emerge parents are spending exorbitant amounts of money in preparation for this year’s Halloween.
The Sydney Morning Herald has reported parents on Sydney’s Lower North Shore have spent as much as $1000 on trick or treat lollies for Halloween this year.
"You don’t have to be the most-scary person on the block," Mr Berner said.
