WIKILEAKS founder Julian Assange has been blocked from seeing evidence in his extradition case, a court has heard.
The Australian, 48, appeared before Westminster JPs by video-link for a hearing to extend his custody in Belmarsh jail.
He is being held in the high-security jail in South East London ahead of a full hearing in February when he will fight extradition to the US.
Assange is accused of working with former US army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to leak classified documents.

His team said visits to him had been restricted.
District Judge Vanessa Baraitser said she had no jurisdiction over jails but it is “in the interest of justice” that lawyers have proper access to clients.
