LOVE Island’s Lucie Donlan has shared a post about “always trusting your instincts” after her ex Joe Garratt was spotted cosying up to Amber Gill.
The former couple split two weeks ago after their long-distance relationship broke down.
Neither have commented publicly about the split – but on Friday night Joe was seen flirting with Love Island champ Amber who wrapped her legs around him.
Ever since, Lucie has shared inspirational messages on her Instagram as she gets over the split on a holiday to Bali.
Meanwhile Joe filmed himself listening to love songs with a crying emoji before quickly deleting it.
Insiders said the couple – who met on the ITV2 show – secretly split after work commitments stopped them spending quality time together.
But soon after becoming single, Joe was seen getting intimate with his co-star Amber when they were caught on camera in a club.
He put his hands on her legs during a night out as Amber sat on a stool. He was filmed leaning in closely and touching her thighs. He moved away when he realised he was being filmed.
As Lucie told fans she was doing yoga and spending time on the beach, she added: “where I’m meant to be”.
Lucie said: Your moves will be misunderstood by those not meant to join you on your journey” before sharing the message: “Don’t be surprised how quickly the universe moves once you’ve decided that you want better for yourself.”

Insiders say their long-distance relationship proved problematic as they struggled to find time to see each other between London and Cornwall.
A source told The Sun Online: “Joe and Lucie have decided to end things between them.
“They’ve been so busy with work lately that it’s made it difficult for them to find time to see each other. They just grew apart.”
