LIVERPOOL are looking to win the Club World Cup for the first time as Jurgen Klopp takes his team to Qatar to do battle with the other continental champions.
The Reds have participated in this tournament on only one previous occasion – when they went down to a shock 1-0 defeat to Sao Paulo in the 2005 final.

When is the Club World Cup?
The Club World Cup got underway on Wednesday, December 11 when Qatari champions Al-Sadd defeated Oceania Champions League winners Hienghene Sport 3-1 after extra time.
The quarter-finals will be played on Saturday, December 14 with Liverpool getting their competition underway with the semi-final on Wednesday, December 18.
That fixture will see Klopp’s men face the winner between Xavi’s Al-Sadd and North American champions Monterrey.
