‘This is awful Spurs’ – Some fans react to struggles during first half against Wolves
Tottenham find themselves 1-0 up against Wolves at the interval in what has been an extremely tight affair at the Molineux Stadium.
Jose Mourinho kept faith with his tried and trusted line up deciding to revert back to a front four of Harry Kane, Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min and Dele Alli ahead of two midfielder pivots in Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko.
Spurs started off the better side and got their reward when Moura put them ahead with a rasping drive in the 8th minute.
The home side took control of the game after that and fashioned several chances but were unable to test Paulo Gazzaniga in the Spurs goal.
While the Lilywhites have looked threatening on the counter-attack, the home side did end the half very strongly.
Some Spurs fans on social media were concerned with how the defence struggled to cope with many of the home side’s forays.

Spurs dropped deeper and deeper as the half went on and although Wolves didn’t create anything clear cut, we were certainly handing them the initiative. Dele the deepest he’s been under Mourinho so far, and the least effective.

Spurs Web Opinion
We do look a threat whenever we have got the ball to the forward players quickly. However, we look extremely susceptible down both flanks and Mourinho certainly has to do something to solve that situation. Hopefully, we can keep it tight at the back and nick another goal on the counter.
