Thrifty mum transforms bathroom for just £10 by using floor tiles from Poundland
A MUM has revealed how she managed to transform her drab bathroom for just a tenner – by picking up supplies at Poundland.
Updating your bathroom can be a costly task, but one woman had finally had enough of her bland flooring so decided to renovate it on a budget.
She headed to Poundland where she picked up some tile stickers, managing to get enough to cover her floor for just £10.
The DIY-savvy mum did all the work herself, using a piece of paper to draw around her loo and then mark it on the tiles.
After cutting everything to shape, she attached the tiles – which come in packs of three – and used sealant to finish off around the edges.
Sharing her handiwork to Facebook group DIY On A Budget, she posted incredible before and photos.
She said: “Thought I would share my bathroom pics.
“I’m so proud of myself all my own work.
“Always hated the floor but not anymore.
“Tiles in total only cost £10 from Poundland.”
More than 400 people have liked her transformation, adding they’ve been inspired to do some DIY themselves.
