Next weekend, on the Fourth of July, when thousands of American voices tunelessly drone the words "... the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air" of the US national anthem, The Star Spangled Banner, they will--most probably unknowingly--also be paying tribute to the ingenuity of Tipu Sultan.
