Caitlyn Jenner Attends Pride Event in NYC
Thousands of LGBT rights advocates and supporters turned out for New York City's annual Pride festivities in the streets of Manhattan this weekend, and Caitlyn Jenner was among them.
Jenner, 65, who came out as transgender earlier this year and whose transition from male to female will be documented in the upcoming E! reality series I Am Cait, attended a Pride event at the Dream Hotel in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood on Sunday, according to a post on Instagram.
Other celebrities who appeared at New York's Pride parade and related events - which was the largest celebration in years thanks to the Supreme Court's recent ruling legalizing same-sex marriage in all 50 states - included Orange Is the New Black stars Lea Delaria, Jackie Cruz, Yael Stone and Adrienne Moore, as well as Sir Ian McKellen, who was one of the parade's Grand Marshals.
