July 1 brings more dollars for oil-impacted ND communities
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — July will bring more tax revenue from oil and gas production to some North Dakota communities to help them deal with the impacts of energy development.
The reworked formula is expected to generate $631 million for the local governments over the next two-year budget cycle, an increase of $133 million over the current cycle, according to state budget analysts.
