While the Airport Authority of India (AAI) has stepped up a series of infrastructural work at the Surat airport, members of We Want Working Airport at Surat (WWWAS) have started garnering support from the members to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and civil aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Pasupati Raju demanding air connectivity for the 45 lakh residents in the Diamond City.
