Downed wires fixed, service restored on SEPTA, Amtrak line
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Service on SEPTA's Paoli/Thorndale Line has resumed after an earlier suspension due to downed wires.
The regional rail line says trains Wednesday are operating with delays of up to 20 minutes in each direction.
SEPTA shares the tracks and overhead power system with Amtrak, which has restored its Keystone Service between Philadelphia and Harrisburg after a morning suspension.
SEPTA's Airport and Wilmington/Newark lines were also temporarily knocked out on Wednesday. Wilmington/Newark passengers should expect delays.
