Meet Munni Devi (58), a resident of Ghughari village in Chiraigaon block. Facing starvation a few years back due to slump in saree industry, she is today financially self-reliant. With a modest beginning of farming on five biswa land taken on rent, the woman is cultivating vegetables and flowers on a piece of six bigha of land, thus making herself financially empowered.
