Syrian Army, Russian military convoy rolls into northern Raqqa: video
BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:00 P.M.) – A Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Russian military convoy entered the town of Ain Issa in northern Al-Raqqa this week, as the SAA and its allies continue to buildup their forces along the front-lines in this governorate.
The town of Ain Issa is considered an important area north of the administrative capital, as it serves as a logistical point between Raqqa city and the Tal Abyad crossing.
Furthermore, the presence of the Turkish-backed militants north of Ain Issa makes the town an important front-line area for the Syrian Arab Army and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
