Former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi's withdrawal from the Bihar CM race may harm NDA in the Bihar assembly elections. According to the observers of the Bihar political scene, a sizeable chunk of Mahadalit votes would have automatically gone to the NDA had Manjhi been in the CM's race.
