EXTON, Pa. (AP) _ Idera Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IDRA) on Thursday reported a loss of $20.6 million in its third quarter.
The Exton, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 59 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 22 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 21 cents per share.
In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company's shares hit $2.93. A year ago, they were trading at $2.61.
