Man killed in Humboldt Park shooting: police

A man was shot to death Thursday while driving in Humboldt Park on the West Side.
The man, 39, was driving about 7 p.m. when someone fired shots at him in the 3600 block of West Grand Avenue, Chicago police said. He was struck in the head and neck, and crashed into three parked vehicles while trying to drive away.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.
Area Four detectives are investigating.
