Dejounte Murray out Monday
Tom Osbourn of the San Antonio Express reports Dejounte Murray will miss Monday’s matchup between the San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers due to a sore foot.
Murray last played in an April 3 139-133 loss to the Indiana Pacers, playing 35 minutes, scoring 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. He has played 46 games this season, averaging 32 minutes, 16 minutes, seven rebounds and five assists per game.
Luka Samanic draws a slot in the starting rotation. Priced at $3,500 on FanDuel, Samanic started one game this season– a Feb. 24 102-99 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing 19 minutes, scoring four points and four rebounds.
Derrick White will also start Monday, playing alongside DeMar DeRozan.
Expect DeMar DeRozan to benefit with Murray out Monday. In 521 minutes this season with Murray off the court, DeRozan has a 29.1% usage rate, averaging 1.27 fantasy points per minute.
The Spurs are an 8.5-point home favorite against the Cavaliers on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a game with a 217.5 total.
