Fred VanVleet Ruled Out Monday
According to Aaron Rose of Sports Illustrated, Fred VanVleet will miss Monday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards due to a hip injury.
The guard last played in Friday’s 130-77 win against the Golden State Warriors, playing 17 minutes, scoring seven points, one rebound and three assists. Starting in 4 games this season, VanVleet has averaged 36 minutes, 20 points, four rebounds and six assists per game.
Malachi Flynn will start for the Raptors in VanVleet’s place. Priced at $3,500 on FanDuel. The rookie, who will be making his first start, has played 24 games, averaging 11 minutes, three points, one rebound and one assist per game.
Expect Pascal Siakam to see an uptick in production as well. When Kyle Lowry and VanVleet are off the court this season, Siakam has a 25% usage rate, averaging 1.47 fantasy points per minute.
The Raptors are a 4-point home favorite against the Washington Wizards on FanDuel Sportsbook, in a game with a 227 total.
