Kristaps Porzingis Downgraded to Doubtful Monday vs. Jazz
Porzingis missed the Mavericks’ previous game due to knee maintenance, and he entered Monday as questionable for their matchup vs. the Jazz. However, he’s been downgraded to doubtful due to a sprained wrist on his shooting hand. Josh Richardson has been upgraded to probable with a calf injury, so he should return to the lineup after sitting out Saturday vs. the Wizards.
With Porzingis unlikely to suit up, Boban Marjanovic is squarely on the fantasy radar. He finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds while starting in place of Porzingis on Saturday, resulting in 32.4 FanDuel points. He’s averaged 1.20 FanDuel points per minute this season, so he’s always an intriguing option when he’s expected to get minutes.
Luka Doncic will also have the opportunity to bounce back following a disappointing string of fantasy performances. He’s scored 46.6 FanDuel points or fewer in six straight games, but he’s increased his usage rate by +1.0% with Porzingis off the court this season.
The Mavericks will face a stiff test vs. the Jazz, and they’re currently listed as six-point home underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook.
