Outer Banks Season 2 Wraps Filming Star Confirms | Screen Rant
Netflix's Outer Banks season 2 reportedly wraps filming. The hit show, which took the world by storm at the beginning of the lockdown, follows a teenager, John B, as he and his three best friends search for a treasure that may be related to the disappearance of John B’s father long ago. Set in the beautiful, yet severely class divided, region of North Carolina’s Outer Banks barrier islands, Outer Banks left everyone enraptured with its twists and turns, romantic drama, and utilitarian beach-y aesthetic. The show was picked up for a second season three months after its April premiere.
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long as, reported by Teen Vogue, Outer Banks is officially done filming season 2. Stars of the show Chase Stokes, who plays John B, and Jonathan Daviss, who plays Pope, posted to social media about wrapping season 2. Both expressed a mix of great gratitude to the cast and crew, excitement for the fans to see what’s coming, and the upmost love and respect for the island of Barbados, where it seems most of the upcoming season was filmed.
