RHOC: Kara's Easter Basket Reveals Pregnancy 1 Year After Baby Died
Kara Keough Bosworth of The Real Housewives of Orange County had a unique Easter this year, revealing that she is now expecting a baby with her husband Kyle Bosworth. This news comes after the couple lost their newborn son around last Easter one year ago.
Keough Bosworth has had one tough year, and in the months since her son's death, she has continued to grieve. Her baby boy passed away from dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord. In a touching Instagram post, the mother of three remarked how it had been 11 months since they lost him and shared a black and white photo. The actress also lost her father, Matt Keough, shortly after her son. She and her husband decided to donate their son’s organs to try and help other families who were suffering.
Keough Bosworth announced the baby news to fans along with a photo that showed their 5-year-old daughter smiling beside three Easter baskets. The first picture showed a basket with rainbow trinkets, as she wrote about how Easter was about the death of the firstborn son, "Sacrifice. Suffering. Mourning. Grief."
The mother revealed the trauma she had gone through last Easter as she held her newborn baby boy while he passed away in her arms. Thankfully for the family, this Easter is much better, as she acknowledged she had renewed hope. She ended her message by writing that she missed her "Mack-a-doddle" and thanked her son for the precious gift she sent to them. Fans were moved by the sweet photo of their daughter, Decker Kate, who was smiling with her arms around the baskets. Behind her was a sign that ready "McCoy's a big bro!"
